David Blaine - Street Magic
I really appreciate people putting together good, short, funny videos, and getting them out on the internet. There is only so much comedy central you can take. For anyone that has ever seen a David Blaine magic trick, you will certainly enjoy this video.
Putting aside Buffet
It was bound to happen sooner or later. The world’s wealthiest being re-ranked and repositioned as to who has the most money. Well, according to Forbes.com ”Mexican telecom titan Carlos Slim HelĂş quietly slipped past the value investor(Buffet)”. At an estimated $53.1 billion, Carlos prevails over W.Buffet’s $52.4 billion.
On top of this all, Berkshire Hathoway’s stocks fell slightly. Article Here.

GOLDEN’s Album Drops
Golden’s highly anticipated album “Peddling Medicine” is finally here along with his fresh new website.
“Holy crap, this dude’s from Reading, PA! It’s Golden, and he’s a hip-hop artist who’s got a flow that sounds as sweet as anyone coming out of Chicago right now. (Like Kanye West, for one). It’s a solid style that doesn’t break, skip, or stutter like some of the other local PA rappers. His newest record, Peddling Medicine, is a solid hip-hop record with super-sweet samples and Golden’s unique style. Golden’s definitely got his own thing going and, with features from Fergie and Farenheit and Sy Smith, he’s got a foot in the door of the industry as well. If you haven’t heard of Golden, that’s a shame, I have a feeling you’ll be hearing about him very soon.”—Pulse Magazine
His album will be available in stores on 5.15.07 and on iTunes on 4.17.07
“East Coast swagger meets West Coast style, and finds a home in the Midwest”– Industry Magazine
Check out his music now, because you’ll be hearing a lot of it very soon.
South Park out on Rolling Stones
South Park is out on the cover of the latest edition of Rolling Stones. If there has ever been a show that deserves the cover, this is certainly it.

Heroes and Lost - Connected?
There are people out there that believe the tv show “Lost” and “Heroes” are somehow connected. If you have ever watched an episode of either show, you have undoubtedly noticed the fictious components that make the shows what they are. Now, some people are saying that they are connected…because they are both so absurd and deliver superhuman characters?? Different networks, different creators.  Article here.

Defending New Jersey
I was browsing Fark.com when I came across this article. It isn’t a real surprise to hear people talk about New Jersey with a negative attitude, based on things they’ve heard. We will call these people “ignorant”. Now these “ignorant” people, or others may call them sheep, make these conclusions based on general statements made by other sheep. Whatever. The point i’m getting at, is that this kid from NJ made a website on the sole premise to defend this negative stigma. The website is JerseyPride.com. Article Here:

I believe he can fly
I love this dunk. Dwight Howard laying this sticker on the backboard. Fantastic.

Yes, he really is that big.
The Aphilliates’ Mixtape Drama in NYT Magazine

Last month, with the help of the RIAA and some music industry snitches, police raided hip hop’s biggest mixtape powerhouse The Aphilliates’ offices, arresting DJ Drama, DJ Don Cannon and a bunch of other people. DJ Drama has been the biggest mixtape DJ for a while now, and his series Gangsta Grillz has been huge. In pretty much the first big crackdown on the mixtape business ever, cops confiscated over 80,000 CD’s and threw everyone in jail with $100,000 bail.
In this week’s New York Times Magazine, Samantha Shapiro breaks down the whole situation with a pretty interesting article, giving the whole background of the ATL hip hop scene, the dynamics of the record industry and the role of mixtapes in general for all the old douchebags that read the Times and have no idea what the hell is going on. Anyway, this whole situation may change a lot of shit, so read up.
If you’ve never heard one of these, Lil Wayne’s The Dedication 2 is highly recommended.
