Posted at February 15, 2007 by Dan

Just as I thought. There are more of those Apple spoof commercials out there, and this one is maybe better than the last post. I’m sure these spoof will continue to roll out. As the Apple commercials continue, so will these.

“Naked College Parties”

Posted at February 13, 2007 by Dan

According to CBS, there are “Naked College Parties” that go on ALL OVER THE COUNTY. Now, i’ve been in college for the past 3 years and either I must not have been paying attention. So the parties go like this. The first floor of the house are for the people with clothes, the second floor of the house are for people with very little clothes, and the third and fourth floor are for people with no clothes.

Which brings me to my first conclusion. A party to occur in a house with 3+ floors will most likely be a fraternity or sorority. Since this CBS segment claims it is a party held by girls, it must  be a sorority.

Now the next piece of information offers insite to the type of schools these parties are held at. IVY LEAGUES.

With that said, here is a link to transfer to UPENN. See you there.

Is another Jay Z about to emerge?

Posted at February 11, 2007 by Dan

Jermaine Dupri has recently been appointed the President of Island Records Urban Music, a new division of the Island Def Jam Music Group. If Jay Z is CEO of hip hop, does this make JD CEO elect? Very doubtfull and probably not likely at all. The point is, L.A. Reid and Steve Bartels finally got smart and realized the success of Jaz Z in a management position, could probably be duplicated with another talented artist such as JD.

Lets look at a few similarities between the two.

The first is, they both dated some fine females:

Jermaine Dupri owns “Cafe Dupri”, Jay Z owns 40/40 nightclub.

Dupri had feuds with Dr. Dre, Jay Z had feuds with Nas.

Anyway, you get the point. All I’m saying is, the next few months in the Hop Hop world should be interesting.

50 Cam Convo

Posted at by Dan

For those of you wondering why there is beef between 50 cent and Camron (if you checked out Gardner’s last post), I hope this video will help clarify the situation. Its a conversation between 50 cent and Camron on the Angie Martinez show. This video clip was filmed in the studio.

50 Cent Cam’Ron diss is G-Unit Terrorist training video

Posted at February 9, 2007 by Gardner

I would normally never post this, but there is something about this video that is so unsettling. So after Cam’Ron had the nerve to diss Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Hot 97, he comes back with this: a mediocre song with a strangely low budget video shot at his Connecticut mansion, complete with entourage, bitches, cars, cash and ridiculously large guns.

What I found so funny was just imagining the nice rich people in 50’s neighborhood wondering what all the men in doorags with video cameras and AK 47’s are doing. I mean, his house literally looks like it could be next to mine, but inside it looks like fuckin’ Al Qaeda’s Queens headquarters.

Where am I gonna get my tomato and anal omelette now?

Bennett’s, one of Madison’s most unique institutions, the type of place that really makes this town great, is officially closing. As reported in the Capital Times, Bennett’s will close on Feb. 24. Commonly known as Smut n’ Eggs, the Park St. bar/grill/dirty movie house is famous for serving old school porn flicks with your late late night/early morning drunken eggs binge. It has always sounded to me like the most fun place in Madison. Unfortunately, I’ve never been there. Yet.

So, the question is: who’s driving to Bennett’s tonight/tomorrow morning? And then again next weekend?

PS: He’s selling all his VHS/DVDs!

Future Sex

Posted at February 7, 2007 by Gardner

I have a huge man crush on Justin Timberlake right now, if only to vicariously get into the pants of two of the hottest women on the planet. Not only did JT release one of the dopest albums of ‘06 (and arguably the best single of the year), but word is that he’s juggling between Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson.

Pause.

Let that sink in for a while.

Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel. And this is after dumping Cameron Diaz. Dude is quickly rivalling Derek Jeter for fantasy-pussy team draft position.

For real, these two have been my #1-2 broads for quite some time now. And I didn’t even make a “SexyBack” joke.

“Aqua Teen Hunger Force” Ads Cause Terror Scare in Beantown

Posted at February 1, 2007 by Gardner

So I was in class yesterday fucking around on the internets while my J335 group was busy working or something like that and stumbled upon the news that several suspicious bomb-like devices had been found all over Boston, and that bridges and major sections of highway had been subsequently shut down (that’s one thing I DO NOT miss about that place).

It turns out that they were not bombs but those tiny little LED screen boxes, with the ATHF logo cheerfully flipping off the bomb squad, a guerilla marketing technique dreamed up by Turner Broadcasting, owners of Cartoon Network. Though possibly ill-advised, this is probably the funniest thing ATHF has ever been responsible for. They’ll get more laughs out of the above image alone than from the sales of all their DVD box sets combined.

The sad part: two men have been arrested for the stunt, hired by a third party to execute Turner’s ad campaign.
